He sat perched on the top of a box in the cargo hold. The ride had been cozy enough- he had the balance to keep himself from jostling aroud too much- and now he was ready to come into port in the Southern Pirate's Isles. His face showed nothing as he sat atop the crates, when a light shone over in in a stripe. The door to the hold had been opened, the little cabin boy walking in. Blake was too quick, the kid gasping as the tiger pressed him against the wall, one blade of the two-ended sword at the deckswabber's throat. "Go ahead," he sneered, "tell your captain. I'll kill you quickly." The boy's face showed enough fear, and so the cat stalked off of the boat, confident no one would be alerted to his presence by the whelp. He strode out into the white sandy beaches of the Pirate's Islands, orange and black hair flapping across his face in the salty sea breeze.

Blue sat on top of a mast, watching those below her. She had not been a passenger on the ship, she had just landed there when she saw come into dock. No one had seen her, nobody ever bothered to look up. From here she could survey the port and all who entered and left. If someone actually saw her she would just fly off, nice thing about having wings. One person in particular caught her attention, a tiger man by the looks of it. He to had the look that he was above everyone here and didn't care about them in the least. A noble, or maybe just an overconfident fool. Then blue saw the sword, and how at ease he acted. He was a warrior, a good one too. Hmmm, maybe worth watching a bit longer. As he walked off along the beaches Blue's mind was made up to follow him. Most who landed just went into town, but he was walking away. Very Interesting. So Blue took off and followed the tiger man from the air.

Blake's hairs rose on the back of his neck, and he began to get the feeling, as some do, that he was being watched. At first he displaced it as pure paranoia, but it grew. He didn't enjoy the feeling. The tiger had simply been on his way to go around into the city. That way, no one would have known that he hadn't belonged on the ship. But he had the uneasy feeling that someone had, and he turned into the town, now entering in the westerngate of the small port city ratehr than the southern one he had intended to. He tightened his grip on the blade at his side, just in case.

Why had the tiger man gone the long way into town? He must be a stowaway, which means he would be broke. So why was Blue bothering to follow this man she couldn't even rob? Well, whoever this tiger man was he was sharp. Blue could tell he knew he was being watched. The way he moved changed and he tightened his hold on his blade. Blue wondered if she should stop and go somewhere else but she really had no where else to go. Business as an assassin was again slow, it seemed no one wanted their enemies dead anymore. It was beginning to get really boring around here and this tiger man was the first interesting thing to happen all month. So she decided to follow a little longer, till there was a real reason to stop. When he came into town he was a little harder to follow but his orange hair stood out among the blonds and browns of the villagers.

Blake shifted uncomfortably. Whatever it was, if it even existed, he wasn't losing it. He shook out his orange and black mane and turned into an alleyway, placing himself against the wall and readying his weapon. If something was following him, and it wanted a fight, he was definitely rady for it. If not, at least no one would think he was completely insane, as they would if he'd done this in the street, or perhaps shouted. He was ready, to fight or to run, whatever was needed, his lips curled into a snarl.

Blue saw him pull into the alley. He would no go any further till she showed herself. Should she show herself? Why not? She had nothing else to do and she should be able to handle herself. So she landed lightly in the shadows of the alley. "Hello there tiger man, your senses are quite good." Blue said stepping from the shadows.

Blake growled, his ears perking forward. "And why are you following me, little pixie?" he growled, on alert. She didn't look like your average friendly Faye. And besides, perhaps this was one of the tricks the little forest-dwellers were known for. Anything could happen. He shifted uncomfortably.

"Because your interesting and I'm bored. Don't worry, I know you have nothing worth my attention because if you did you wouldn't be stowing away on ships. So tiger man, what brings you to the land of theives and assassins?" Blue said calmly, all with a friendly smile on her face. The smile didn't reach her eyes though, they stayed alert and cold as always.

Blake let out a low throated growl. He'd only snuck on to the ship because it was simpler than trying to pay for it. And besides, they wanted to take his double-bladed sword the last time he'd rode a boat. The tiger felt naked without his favorite weapon. "I'm simply travelling through, looking for something to do," he answered, deciding there was no gain to lying. "And what is it about me that you find so interesting?" He still held his ground, ready to defend himself if need be.

"The fact you are a tiger man, you don't see to many of those around these parts, that you were a stowaway, and that you are a good warrior." Blue said and thought over a random idea that had come into her head. "Your bored, I'm bored. Want to look for something to do together. Two's company after all."

Blake looked her over suspiciousl, stories of pixies still fresh in his mind. "This isn't some sort of a Faye trick? I'm not that gullible," he rumbled, ears twitching. His curiousity was eating at him- he'd never met any Faye besides a few fairies before- and he looked her over once again. His grip on the blade loosened, only a tiny tiny bit.

At the mention of 'faye tricks' the mask of good nature fell quickly from Blue's face. "I do not try and trick stupid people with stupid tricks! It's a waste of time and not worth doing! Are you like all the other Beast-People?! Can't there be a Faye that actually has a logical thought in her head!" Blue did something she hardly ever did, lose her cool. That only happened when people compared her to normal Faye who she despised.

"I did not in any way mean to offend," Blake hissed, "Even the Diomes are known for it, theirs the most dangerous. He wasn't about to apologize. The tiger was beginning to see that this girl was not like other Faye... it seemed very odd. She also had a dangerous air about her, someone to watch out for.

"It's nothing. Just be sure that if I were to play what I call a trick on you you would be dead. That's the only tricks I play, that and stealing what I need to survive." Blue said abrupty calming down. She rarely got emotional but when she did she was very quick to turn back to her cold self. But this time she no longer smiled or acted happily, she showed the tiger man how she usually acted.

Blake raised his eyebrows. He was beginning to like this pixie. "What's your name, then, deadly one?" he asked, with a slight sneer on the word deadly. He couldn't be sure if she was being truthful or not about being so dangerous, though from her mannerism, being a thief was likely. He should know. He was often a rogue himself on his travels.
