Terasha was struck. She didn't know what to do. After all, she definitely wanted to go with Dre. But she also wanted to go with River in case the little royal naiad ran into any trouble. And then again, she didn't want to leave Blake as the only one to go with Dre. From the looks she'd seen on the beast-man's face, their travelling together may result in the death or serious injury of one or both of them.
Blake saved her. "I think River and I should probably check out the docks. After all, I'd recognize Blue if I saw her, and I still need to get acquainted with our navigator."
Terasha sighed inwardly. "All's set then?" She asked, and closer to the door again. She put a hand on River's shoulder. "I don't know what we've all gotten ourselves into," she laughed.

"It'll be fine Terasha! I don't know what your talking about!" She turned to follow Blake to the docks and tripped but this time didn't fall completely over. "Opps, I should be more careful where I'm going. Well see you soon Terasha! Dre!" With that she followed the tiger man to the docks.
"Doesn't seem like a princess does she? And thanks for saving me from tiger boy, he looked like he wanted to eat me alive, very slowly. So where shall we go first?" Dre said having seen River's clumsy exit. He was a little nervous about being alone with Terasha and so close to her, when they got too close he would suddenly get hot and feel shakes down his spine. He may have even sweated a little though he hoped not. He didn't want to ruin their friendship over these feelings that had seemed to pop up from nowhere.

Terasha's throat suddenly felt dry. She tried to speak anyhow. "Since we probably know the old Dusty best, we might as well try there first." The Dusty Dagger being where many of those belonging to the Thieves' Guild were known to frequent, the people there would readily answer any question Dre asked. Well, most of them would, at least. She felt waves of happiness seem to wash over her for no reason at the thought of just being neaar the thief king. She once again had to remind herself that they were just friends.

"Dusty it is then. I'm sure it will be our last stop since you have always been my lady luck." Dre said with a playful smile. He tried to avoid looking at Terasha too much because when he did he felt his body grow warm, and a longing to be by her side and never leave. Try as he might no amount of head shaking could clear this feeling away. What was going on with him?

Terasha had to watch herself, about a finger's width from giggling like a giddy little schoolgirl. What has gotten into you, you idiot!? A little bit of approval was all it took for the half-Kurash to have to fight all of the feeling washing over her in waves. She'd cut it down to a simple smile, and tried anwering calmly, half-heartedly rolling her eyes at the joke which seemed to set her heart on fire for no reason at all. "Glad you approve," she laughed, though the laugh wasn't the joking kind. It was more forced. She was caught between all these feelings, and still trying to make it look on the outside like this was just another bit of friendly banter. Hopefully, it wasn't too obvious to onlookers, though some people seemed to eye her as if she was insane these days. Not that some people hadn't always looked at her that way.

Dre couldn't help but notice that Terasha was acting odd. At first he thought it was just him, after all he was feeling so strange, but then there was that laugh which he knew was forced. "Terasha are you okay? You know if you have something you want to tell me you can just say it." Oh you had to say that, now she's going to tell you she knows about how you make her feel and is going to leave, Dre was saying to himself in his head. If that was true Dre didn't know what he would do, life without Terasha suddenly didn't seem worth it. But if she didn't want to be around him he would have to let her go. Terasha was not the kind of bird who let other clip her wings, she was the kind that if you tried would atack you with her talons till you gave up, or one of you died.

"I'm fine," Terasha said, trying to keep herself from blushing a deep crimson. She should have been a better liar, being a thief, and she could have lied to anyone else. But coming up with a lie for Dre was just.... it was beyond horrible. She couldn't do it. But she had to... or else what would happen? What was she goig to do, explode into a blubbering mess on his shoulder? What then? She could imagine him shaking his head at her hopeless self, telling her she was off her rocker, or something close enough. Who was to say she wasn't? She probably was, actually. Just not in that same way. Wouldn't it be easier just to tell him, though? Maybe in the short run... but not many people in this world even cared whether she lived or died. She wasn't going to lose even one of them so easily. She was almost starting to feel sick, like she was being torn apart. Stupid, emotional, little girl feelings. She wished she could just get rid of all of them sometimes.

"Alright, if you say so." Dre said but kept a careful watch on her. Atleast it hadn't gone like he had invisioned it, that was a big relief for him. It had been hard not to sigh.
((So when will they meet up with Blake, Blue, and River? Oh and sorry for the short post, writer's block.))

((Runnin' outa good uns myself. We might as well just skip the DD for now, we can go back and do that one in a journal or something. >.> We can just take them to Idiots after this.))
Terasha nodded. She couldn't help but note the horror she felt at the thought he might know what was in her head. As far as the hawk knew, he wasn't a mind reader. But who could tell? There might still be mysteries unsolved in her friend. Was he looking at her funy, or was it just her? No, it's just you, stupid.[/color]
