This is where you'll find A'Dense's quite complicated.. plot.. thing.
So basically there are about a zillion different races, who have all split into the War, oh, say 32 years ago.
The dragons each ruled a part of the kingdom of A'Dense peacefully, until the Ruby Dragon and the Gold Dragon had an argument, each splitting off, which caused the others to do the same.
The Gold Dragon's fifth of the Kingdom is called Habernaith. The Golden Dragon represents Lawful Good, never doing anything wrong. Basically the Robon Hood of dragons, always giving to someone else.
The Silver Dragon's fifth of the kingdom is dubbed Pleo. The Silver Dragon represents Chaotic Good. Sometimes they will stray from being all good and perfect, but hardly ever, and only if need be.
The Opal Dragon rules the fifth of the Kingdom named Lore. Neutral to the end, the Opal Dragon has no side in the war.
The Ebony Dragon controls the fifth of the Kingdom called Dymaculus. This Dragon tends to be Lawful Evil. Not completely evil, but not good, either. They just have... guidelines for being evil.
The last and most Northern-most fifth of the kindom is dictated by the Ruby Dragon, and is named Zoreale. The Ruby Dragon is strictly Chaotic Evil. There are no rules or guidelines for this dragon, twisting everything to be for himself, never doing anything for anyone else. Ever.

Each of these kingdoms lies on the great North continent of A'Dense. They also have, as most good kingdoms do, capitals, each nicknamed for the dragons who rule them. You might catch a pattern.
Taevess, "City of the Gold Fist," from which the great Golden dragons rule.
Taeshea, "City of the Silver Fist," home of Silver leaders.
Fraern, "City of the Changing Fist," and of the many colored Opal dragons.
Gaevess, "City of the Ebony Fist," where Ebony dragons dwell.
Gaesha, "City of the Ruby Fist," full of dangerous Rubies.

Caught in the middle were the Kurash. Ten years before war broke out between dragons was the point at which the Timeturners tried their hand at ruling the world. What resulted was the loss of Kurash lives and dignity as their gods stripped them of their powers.
The Kurash now lie beneath the Central Sea, from which all A'Dense rivers flow. One might have once entered this city rich in trade at Wainea at the southern end of the lake, and Pavius at the Northern end. Now this lake serves as the center point between the warring dragon nations, and most of the disgraced people stay holed up in their depths.
