Creatures of the night with a taste for blood. They can live to be thousands of years old, though many may notconsider it life, true life. The soul lives on in a dead body, feeding off of the blood of other mortals in an attempt to complete itself.
They are lawful evil by nature, and most who aren't are chaotic evil. There are a few, if any, of other alignments, but these are a rare occurence.
Majority of vampires belong to a small group. (Ranging in numbers, currently, from the smallest, with four, to the largest with fifty.)
Each rules over a different area. (As follows)
The most common way for vampires to grow in number is to gain converts. A nonlethal bite (rare and concious act) will turn another living being into a vampire.
Photosensitive vampires are deathly allergic to sunlight. They may, however, be exposed to any much weaker light. The former makes them nocturnal, and they therefore have exceptional night vision.
Vampires cannot be healed by druids or priests, as this can in some cases actually cause them injury. They possess their own blood magicks, thought they cannot use other forms of the craft.

Underdark Clan- those hiding in and under the streets of Habernaith. They are few in number, as most aren't risky enough to try living under the gold dragon's nose. Rebellion is beginning to surface under the rule of their tyrannical king.
Starflow Quarte- Four vamps living in Pleo who beg the pantheon for answers to their existence, never getting a one- yet. "Good vamps" who feed on the blood of criminals. Pathetic in the eyes of any other clan.
Crimson League- Lore's vampires, ruled by a three-person elected council, and one of the largest groups. Evil republic. Who would have guessed?
Shadowblood Followers- Dymaculus's large concentration of vampires, the largest in A'Dense. These follow their queen unquestioningly, as they have for years past.
Red River Sect- The cult of Zoreale's vampires. No one is quite sure who they answer to, but they all work as one. Almost as if they all have the same mind. Their mysterious rituals, though, strike fear in even the strongest of hearts and minds.
Bloodoak Brotherhood- The southern vampires of the Pirate's Isles. Sure, they may belong to different guilds, but they all refer to each other as siblings, and all work for... the common evil?

If you wish to be converted, PM and vamp and/or admin.
If you want to convert someone, PM person and admin.
Tada.
