On A'dense, there are two types of the feline species. Msynian and Grylian. They are indeed of the same race, but are so different one from another planet, or even galaxy, wouldn't beleive you if you told them so.
||Msynian||
Msynian Felines are the desert-dwellers, with thinner fur and sharper instincts. Their fur is usually of the desert tones, ranging from a soft gold to grahm-cracker brown. Reds have been sighted, but aren't usually the norm.
The sweltering temperatures were hard to adapt to, but the Msynians eventually became one with their surroundings.
The Msynian Felines have been considered "barbaric" at times, which indeed would be true. The peppery heat draws them to wear little clothing, or no clothing at all.
The leader of the Msynians is called the Rubnianak, with a great mane of fur around his neck, and holds the ultimate power over the Msynians.
These Felines range from six to seven feet in height, the Rubnianak standing the tallest at eight feet tall.
Their weight ranges as does their height, but usually males will weight around 240, females 220 or less.
The Msynians worship the sun god, Xytanica, but, since they are "barbaric", hardly ever devote their time to worship and prayer. However, when the Eclipse comes around, and the moon covers the sun, they all run and flee in terror, for their god has been defeated.
||Grylian||
Grylian Felines are the mountain-dwellers, with thicker fur and sdulled instincts. Their fur is usually of the earth tones, ranging from deep brown to alabaster white. Blacks have been sighted, but aren't usually the norm.
The cool temperature of the rainforest caused them to adapt, their fur becomong the sleek wet-repelling coat they needed to survive. So, they were soon at home in the rainforests and mountains. They wear thick robes, and usually don't go anywhere without them.
The Grylian Felines are considered the "Scholars" of the Feline species, with a thirst for knowledge and thousands upon thousands of scrolls in their City's library.
The leader of the Grylians is called the Julianop, with a great mane of fur around her neck, and holds the ultimate power over the Grylians.
These Felines range from five to six feet in height, the Julianop standing the tallest at seven feet tall.
Their weight ranges, as does their height, but usually males will weight around 180, females 150 or less.
The Grylians worship the moon god, Lilith, and, since they are "Scholarly", devote their time to worship and prayer. However, when the Eclipse comes around, and the moon covers the sun, they all rejoyce in a week long celebration, for they god has conquered it's enemy.
||Where And How They Live||
The Felines live separated on the island chain to the West of the "Great Continent" of A'dense, far across the sea. They each have their own island, once filled with forests and mountains, one with hot deserts.
They have hated each other for years and years, and wars conatantly break out, usually resulting in the Grylians winning.
Some say they were once Beast-People, but that time is long gone, and now they live in utter seclusion from other races, though occasionally the lone traveler will be sighted in Pleo or some other Dragon's Domain...
