Name": Sparrowhawk (his given name) Jaol Kinn (his real name)
Age": 43
Race": Human
Class/Occupation": Warrior priest - technically retired due to loss of sight [Rogue warrior]
Allignment": Chaotic Good
Personality": Sparrow will do whatever it takes to destroy evil, even if it means forfeiting[sp?] his own health. He believes his loss of eyesight was a calling to fulfill his destiny, for it has given him the gift of looking into ones soul. A blur of colours entwining is all he sees of the living and dark souls, whereas he cannot see inanimate objects. He is a gentle soul underneath, but when in the prescence of something he belives to be evil he is quick to go on the offensive - often too quick.
Appearance": He stands at 6' when standing up straight, but he has a tendency to slouch, and he has a strong and sturdy build. His messy head of dark blonde hair appears to have never been washed, it reaching down just to his shoulders, and his jaw looks unshaven (for he cannot see his chin to shave). Covering his useless eyes is a green silk blindfold, the green matching the green trim on his clothes.
His clothes consist of a biege tunic that reaches half way down his thigh, held against his waist with a thick leather belt. The trim around the sleeves and the bottom of the tunic depict a slightly aztec style square pattern, the colour matching his blindfold. His trousers match his tunic and appear to be too large for him, baggy material tucked messily into light brown leather boots. His boots almost reach up to his knees and the laces wrap all the way around to the top, the knot the only neat thing about Sparrow. He used to own a full set of stiffened leather armour, but now he only has the bracers. The armour was lost steadily along the way, either be damage or by carelessness.
Weapons": Woodcutters axe, found resting in a loop in his belt at his right side, and a blacksmiths hammer, found tucked into his belt on his left. He also wields a quarterstaff, but he thinks of it more as a walking aid than a weapon.
History": Having trained most of his life in a monastry, Sparrow took a liking to violent measures. He turned to becomming a mercanary quickly, abandoning the monastry and the safety that its walls gave. Although he should have been called a monk, he took on the title of priest and soon found himself back in religeous settings. He worked with an organisation founded within a church, the one with the name he can never remember.
His world revolved around adventures set by the lord of the land, paying Sparrow to bring back artifacts and such, although he longed for the call of battle. After two years he finally got the quest he had been longing for. He was to act as a warrior priest and charge into battle with his axe and staff. This was the battle where he lost his eyes, he was aged 35 at the time.
He was counted as a 'hero' within the army and soon found himself within a ring of foot-soldiers facing off a beatman. He swung his weapon from over his head, a downward cut that would have torn the beast in half from the shoulder across to his waist. Unfortunately he got an arrow to the hand and completely missed, the axe dropping harmlessly to the floor. Sparrow didn't hear the sound of the wooden handle thumping against the earth floor. His agonising cry of pain drowned out all other sounds to him.
He now has the burn marks from the magic that gouged his eyes out, although he'd rather not talk about them. Ever. He chooses to hide them behind his silk blindfold.
And so he wanders aimlessly, looking for a way to find enlightenment. He can no longer find it through work from the lord of the order of priests, they call him unfit and have called him retired - urging no one to hire him.
Race's Leader?": No
