Cherna looked around the magnificent city with artistic monuments on every corner. She was here to visit her fellow sisters, both priestesses and her actual sister. The priestesses she had already visited and had learned her sister was out on a mission. Well still, at least she got to see the sights!

Up into the air went Aela, then down onto the ground with a smack. "And stay out!" She heard behind her, falling on her face.
"I didn't want to be in there anyway!" She yelled back, sticking her tongue out. She got up and brushed herself off, then tuned to walk down the street. Hands behind her head in a nonchalant stance, Aela was the picture of trouble. Her seafoam green hair was put up in such a manner that it looked as if an oddly coloured tree sprouted out of the center of her head. Her violet eyes lazily looked about her for something else to temporarily hold her interest. The half sapphire dragon truly was as bad as her mother, the wild goddess Xyla. Because of this, she was always aloof and insane, thinking other mortals' concerns too far below her own. She simply hung around and was the result of many a mess. Though, sometimes, to make a little money so she could stay somewhere at night, she would do a musical performance in a tavern or on the street. It wasn't too hard to get by that way, after all her mother was the goddess of music. So here Aela was now. She fingered the frying pan at her back. She'd caused too much trouble already. Her reputation preceded her, for almost no place in Taevess would let her stay. So here she was, with nowhere to go but... well, she could go just about anywhere, but she didn't quite want to. Something was needed to hold her interest.

Drawing nearer to the town, Viann drew his hood closer to his head. Leaning down over the black mare he rode, he checked to make sure it was all in order.
It all seemed to be so, so he started forward again. Even as Rubnianak of the Msynian Felines, he had taken to traveling abroad, leaving the felines to his sister.
He never was one to stay in one place for too long.
So here he was, in a country that have never before seen a Msynian Feline.
The roads were busy, but he didn't mind. His alabaster ears protruded from the hood, the brown streaks across his face just barely visable. His hooded shirt was sleeveless, but then again, he was used to heat.
Viann's shirt was a dull brown, with a black symbol on the back; his family crest. His pants were tight black shorts, whith a hole for his tail.
He wore no boots, as they were usually used as a torture meathod for felines- they didn't work too well with the curved foot and claws.
As he looked up, he saw a girl being thrown out of a tavern. What an odd sight. He smiled, his sharp canine teeth glinting in the sun.
"Pray tell me, dear lady, where I can find somewhere to stay tonight?"

Xytanica threaded her way through the crowded streets of Taevess, lashing her tail as she went. Yes, Xytanica, Godess of the Sun, was a cat, for the moment. Her fur was a deep firey aburn color, as were her eyes. Only those who personally knew her would know who was under the fur coat and feline ears. She saw a Feline male talking to a dragon. Half saphire, she noted. She took a closer look at the male, and noted the family crest. So /this/ was Viann, Rubnianak of the Msynian Felines. She paused in her thoughts to rub her head against a woman's leg, purring. Undignifyed for a godess, to be sure, but who would tell her not to? She walked away from the woman with a fat fish in her mouth, grinning to herself. By the time she reached the two, the fish had been cooked and eaten by her. She licked her fangs thoughtfully. 'A little on the burnt side, but good anyway.' she thought, then meowed at the Feline. That was all the warning she gave before gathering her hindquarters and springing upwards, landing with the customary catlike grace, becoming of a godess. She wondered if her would know her. Aela would, surely, for she was daughter of a godess. She began purring again, and sat squarely on the horse's head, and stared at Viann.

Cherna watched a little stunned as a person was thrown in front of her. Literaly, the flying woman had brushed Cherna's nose she got so close. While she stood there blinking, a Feline came up and asked the woman on the ground about a place to stay. Her instinct as priestess took over. "If your looking for a place to stay the temples are always open no matter the race or history. They will also provide food and some health care." She said to the woman on the ground. "I personally am a priestess of Kiari and will be willing to show you to Taevess's lovely temple district!" Suddenly something caused her senses to freeze. She looked around and saw a cat. "A cat, how cute! Is the cat yours? She's adorable! Can I pet her? Pleeeeezz!" She said to the cat man, already picking up the city and petting her. "I just love cats! I am a cat Kurash myself."
((I bet you guys thought she was going to realize there was a goddess, but no she's too shallow to sense that. Heh heh heh.))

Aela sniffed. "Everyone's throwing me out, so I wouldn't know where's any good." She turned to the one who'd identified herself as a priestess. Perhaps, as Xyla's daughter, she wouldn't be exactly welcome in the temple- the two goddesses were known for being at each other's throats half of the time- but at least it was something. She took the frying pan she carried out and slung it over her shoulder, one hand on her hip. "You think that temple'd take me in? A daughter of Xyla?" She seemed to always start a conversation by mentioning her divine heritage. She was rather proud of being the goddess of music's daughter, an odd lady to be proud of. The half dragon shook her treelike seafoam hair, itching her tiny catlike ear. Some called the girl crude. She called herself comfortable.

Viann gasped. "Xytanica!" He cried, lowering his hood and bowing his head. He eyes remained lowered, though he raised his head. He turned to the Kurash who now held his goddess.
"Please, she is not mine, or anyone's, for matters." He said, his soft accent pushing through his words. In truth, he could speak the Common Tounge better than most, but still his speach was not perfect.
"May I?" He asked, extending his paws to retrieve his godess. "But, I do not think any temple would open paws to me..." He murmured. "I think I would be better in a darker sorts of place.." He finished.
Once he had Xytanica in his paws, he set her back on the horse's head. "Forgive me, please." He said, kissing her paw.
"And for you, child," He held out a black and white kitten to Cherna. "I think you will enjoy this."

Aela pointed behind her with the hand that wasn't holding her weapon-slash-cooking supply, towards the tavern she'd just been thrown out of. "Place I juss got tossed outa, they might be dark 'nough." Her speech was simple and crude. She didnt' speak like the daughter of a goddess would be expected to. Then again, that goddess was Xyla. "That'd be why I though they mighta taken me. But they won't, ya know. None of 'em will."

"Huh? Xytanica? I feel as if I should know that... And another kitty how cute!" Cherna carefully handing the first cat to the feline whose name she did not know yet and petted the other cat. She may be carefree but she didn't hurt cats or do things that she knew would hurt, for other animals to as well as cats. "And who is Xyla? Well whoever you are and whatever you are the temples are pledged to accept you if you ask, they might complain and be a little rude but if you don't give it up they have to let you in. Besides I'm sure if the temple of Kiari doesn't take you in they sure won't let me in!" She said this as usual in a cloud of obliviousness to the people around her. As for the temple of Kiari not letting her in, well lets just say there had been an incident, quite recently. No dought that half the sisters were still getting bandages put on. Of coarse soon after that they kicked her out for some reason, it wasn't like she ment to cause, the incident. Well maybe if she came with strangers they would let her in? Well whether they did or not they were supposed to which was the point.

Aela raised an eyebrow at the cat Kurash. "What on-" she started. Everyone should have known their dieties! Aela, of course, knew better than most. "Xyla, goddess of music?! Ya didn' know?! And Xytanica the sun-bearer, who else?! Where you reared, kitty?!" She shook her head, remembering what she'd heard of the Kurash. She'd never actually met one before today. "I see, I see. You Kurash, ya keep ta yerselfs, right? They don' teach yas aboucher gods under that lake there?"

Viann blinked. "One should know their gods and godesses." He told the young Kurash. He stared down the road, and sighed. "No, a temple will not do for me." He murmured. Taking his back from the horse, he shouldered it, and slipped down from the mare.
Now on two feet, he towered over Cherna and Aela. "Please, travel with me, friends." He said with a smile. "I'm sure we can find someplace that will take us." He said, holding the reigns of his horse in one paw.
"Since neither her of I seem to want to go to a temple, I say we travel on farther into town and see what we can find." He told them, nodding slowly to himself.

((I am going to briefly bring in another priestess to help out the situation.))
"Oh they had very good program's about the gods, I think. I don't really know, I can't remeber... And I suppose I should go to the temple of this Xylana and beg for forgivness, strange she sounds so familiar... As for finding another place I won't allow it! You simply have to let me treat you to dinner and find you all a place to stay and give you a tour of the city which might not actually be a good idea since I kinda lost right now as this is my first time at the city-" "Cherna! What are you doing now!" A voice came from a woman dressed as a priestess of Kiari like Cherna was. "Oh hello Galena, I was just...what was I doing?" "Cherna!" The priestess sighed heavily obviously used to this but still infuriated by it. Then she frove and turned to the first cat. "Forgive me you Holiness! I did not sense you at first!" She priestess got down in the grimy streets and genuflected, keeled so low that her forehead touched the dirty streets and her white, tunic like dress got mud on it. "Please forgive this servant for such an unworthy welcome." She then turned to Cherna and whispered. "Get down, can't you tell that's a goddess!" "Huh, I thought it was a cat." Cherna complained but also got on the ground, saying the same thing as Galena. After that they both got up and following Galena's lead they bowed deeply to Aela. "You bless this servant with your presance divine one." Both said, Cherna a note behind Galena. "If there is any way for this servant to help you you only have to voice your wish." Then they turned to Viann and bowed, not as low though, again. "Great leader please accept our hospitality and and thanks for visiting with us." As priestesses there was a line they had for welcoming everyone of every rank though Cherna obviously was being lead hand and foot through this.

That's more like it, Aela thought to herself with a smile. "You got a place to stay and some eats, I'm good," she said with a fake yawn. "Nice stuff, too," the half dragon added, an eyebrow raised. Her left hear fidgeted twice, and she replaced her frying pan over her back, her hands on her hips. She looked up at the rather tall Feline. "Ya comin'? Er ye juss gonna stand there?" She actually thought he might stand there. After all, it wasn't every day one was addressed as such. It was times like these she was overjoyed to be the daughter of a goddess.

Viann yawned and nodded, following his new friend, his horse walking along behind him. "Can you ride?" He asked the smaller being, stopping suddenly. "We could go much faster if we rode." He said.
Twitching his ears, he smiled down at her. "If you cannot, we can walk." He said with another twitch of his ear. His tail waved behind him in the breeze, and he caught the scent of food. "We should hurry, before dark comes...."

"Well this way to the temple district. I would love to take you to our temple, the temple of Kiari, but due to someone it is closed, for a week perheps!" The glare that Galena gave Cherna could have killed but Cherna was to busy staring at all the buildings or playing with the black and white cat. "So we shall go to the Temple of the White Lady, that temple at least was spared. And I must ask for forgiveness for whatever Cherna has said or done, she is an idiot." "Hey that's not fair! I'm smart! I'm just more...mystic than you all." "See what I mean?" Galena said without even acknowaging Cherna's comment. "Hey!"
